Chart Analysis:

  1. Alice A. Bailey:

Pushya is related to a Guru (teacher) and also to the fast multiplying theme of the Lotus. Between the years 1919 and 1949, she produced twenty-four books, including an autobiography; nineteen of these books were supposed to have been dictated spiritually by her Tibetan Master, DK (Djwhal Khul).  Alice Bailey comments; I remain in full control of my senses of perception. I simply listen and take down the words that I hear and register the thoughts which are dropped one by one into my brain. I have never changed anything that the Tibetan has ever given to me. I do not always understand what is given. I do not always agree. But I record it all honestly and then discover it does make sense and evokes intuitive response.

Background:

Alice Bailey’s 2 L of speech and the 3 L of writing all in her Rahu Ketu axis of 6/12 indicating a karmic debt to do with moksha connected with her speech and writing (communication).  Her lord of Dharma (Jupiter) aspects her Lagna from the 9H and her lord of Karma (10 L Mars) is also with her Lagna.  All this lead Alice Bailey to write on Theosophy (God’s Wisdom) with the grace of her guru, Djwal Khul

Interpretation:

  • Mars in Pushya:  Among the karakatawas of Mars are publishing and ink. Pushya is spirituality and sacred speech. Alice Bailey published 24 books on the subject of Theosophy – God’s wisdom or the wisdom of Brihaspati
  • Nourish or Take Care:  She was born into a wealthy British aristocrat family. She described a lonely and “over-sheltered” childhood and was unhappy despite the luxury of her physical circumstances. In 1907 she married Walter Evans. The marriage did not last and Bailey pushed for and received a divorce. She was left with their three children after their in 1915. She then worked as a factory worker to support herself and the children.
  • Self-Creating:  The Lotus is self-creating – needs no pollination. According to Alice Bailey her books were self-created i.e. not written by thoughtful effort on her part but were words which were received by her spiritually from a guru (higher source) who she identified as Djwal Khul
  • Blossoms in a muddy environment:  The President of the Theosophical Society, Annie Besant, questioned Bailey’s claims of communications with “the Tibetan” and expelled Alice Bailey from the organization.  However, Alice and Foster Bailey founded the Lucis Trust in 1922. It gives instruction, and guidance in meditation, via correspondence; based on the ideas in Bailey’s books. The next year, they changed that name to “Lucis Publishing Co.”[18] In 1923, with the help of Foster Bailey, Alice Bailey founded the Arcane School (part of Lucis Trust), which gave (and still gives) a series of correspondence courses based on her writings.
  • Brihaspati does not take care of himself, only the houses he aspects: Of her early life she wrote that she was appalled at the influences of the Victorian era, especially the wide gulf between the comforts of the upper classes and the struggles of the labouring classes, that those problems were caused at least in part by the unfairness of the “theology of the past”, that as a child she was unhappy and did not find life worth living, and because of this attempted suicide three times: the first at the age of five, the second at age 11, and the third at an unspecified time prior to age 15. She wrote that after her third attempt, she lost interest in the idea, but that she “always understood the impulse.”
  • Can multiply fast : She wrote 24 books in 30 years

  1. Mick Jagger:

(Sun and Jupiter in Pushya, Mick Jagger and this Rolling Stones members with Brihaspati – Maharishi Mahesh Yogi)

Sun in Pushya gives good speech (voice). Mick Jagger has been rated as among the 25 most distinctive singing voices of America by rankopedia.com. He is rated no. 17th on this list.

Background:

Mick Jagger’s 2H is very important with Jupiter (Lord of 7 of partnerships and 10 of profession), Mercury (Lord of 1 of self and 4 domestic matters/home), Sun (Lord of 3 – song-writing) and Rahu (co-lord of 9 of fortune/travels). His Bhrigu Bindu is also in the 7 H of Public Platform. Public Honours came to him via his signing and song writing which was his profession. It is this profession of song writing and singing which influenced his marriages and gave his position in the pantheon of great singers

Interpretation:

  • Jupiter in Pushya :  Jupiter is in Pushya. Jupiter is the Karaka for education. Jagger left school in 1961 after obtaining seven O-levels and three A-levels. Later, Jagger continued studying business courses (Brihaspati – the advisors of the Gods) at the London School of Economics. Mick Jagger was good in academics despite his keen interest in music
  • Sun in Pushya:  A karakatwa of the Sun is ‘power or energy’ in Pushya the lord of sacred speech (singing). As Jon Bon Jovi, also a veteran, said: “We continue to make Number One records and fill stadiums. But will we still be doing 150 shows per tour? I just can’t see it. I don’t know how the hell Mick Jagger does it at 67. That would be the first question I’d ask him. He runs around the stage as much as I do yet he’s got almost 20 years on me.”
  • Mother like or take care: Musician David Bowie would also said that “I think Mick Jagger would be astounded and amazed if he realized that to many people he is not a sex symbol, but a mother image.”
  • Blossoms in a muddy environment:  In the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2002 Jagger was appointed a Knight Bachelor for services to popular music and on 12 December 2003 he was knighted by HRH the Prince of Wales. Mick Jagger’s knighthood received mixed reactions. Some fans were disappointed when he accepted the honour as it seemed to contradict his anti-establishment stance (muddy environment). Charlie Watts was quoted in the book According to the Rolling Stones as saying, “Anybody else would be lynched: 18 wives and 20 children and he’s knighted, fantastic!”
  • Can multiply fast: Seven known children from four women and five grandchildren, as per the last count!
  • Spirituality towards later years:  Mick Jagger: rock-star, musical genius, icon — spiritual seeker, avid meditator? Apparently, so. The UK’s Sun reports that he recently went on a spiritual trip to Laos, and that he regularly goes there to regenerate: He spent hours with monks in the temples and chanted with them. He practises Buddhism and meditation every day. He says it’s the first thing he does when he gets up in the morning. Mick stays in different places and has a lot of contacts among the monks. He’s said it’s his favourite place in the world.

  1. Jimmy Swaggart:

Jimmy Lee Swaggart is an American Pentecostal pastor (a person having spiritual charge of a congregation) author, radio and televangelist through his weekly telecast. His 1980s telecast was transmitted to over 3,000 stations and cable systems each week. His function is to give his congregation direction through his speech. In short, he was the Lord of Sacred speech

Background:

Jimmy Swaggart has his Moon (Lord of 8 in 8) and Ketu (Co-Lord of the 12H) in the 8 H in Pushya-2. Moon and Ketu are in the navamsa of Mercury which is in the 3rd house of communication in the D-1 chart and a natural significator of communication. The 8th house gave him the power of occult in speech for spiritual matters via the 5H (Bhrigu Bindu is placed here and the lord Mars is also the Lord of the 12 H), the 8H and the 12H. The connection of the 8H and the presence of Ketu in it also caused his downfall due to his involvement with prostitution related scandals

Interpretation:

  • The Lotus needs the Sun (light/truth) without it the Lotus wilts (gives in to Satan):   “He had come from a disadvantaged background on the wings of Pentecostal Christianity, to become perhaps the pre-eminent televangelist. He had all the perquisites of that special priesthood—three spacious homes, a personal jet and the use of a luxurious ministry “retreat” in California. Jimmy Lee Swaggart, 52, was the charismatic maestro of high-energy salvation. In the course of each sermon, the fired-up preacher would rant, weep, thrust his Bible high in the air and strut the stage this way and that, whipping his followers and himself to a devotional frenzy. An acute businessman as well as a spellbinding performer, he built an electronic empire with hundreds of millions of viewers worldwide and an income from contributions of $150 million a year. Less visibly, when it was dark, he was fighting all along a secret war with Satan and—it is now clear—he was losing it” (reference to his involvement with prostitution).
  • Lord of the Sacred Speech: According to his autobiography Swaggart, along with his wife and son, lived in poverty during the 1950s as he preached throughout rural Louisiana, struggling to survive on US$30 a week. The Swaggarts lived in church basements, pastors’ homes, and small motels. Sun Records producer Sam Phillips wanted to start a gospel line of music for the label and wanted Swaggart for Sun as the label’s first gospel artist. Swaggart’s cousin Jerry Lee Lewis, who had previously signed with Sun, was reportedly making $20,000 per week at the time. Although the offer meant a promise for significant income for him and his family, Swaggart turned Phillips down, stating that he was called (born) to preach the gospel. (the lord of sacred speech)
  • Egoistic/Commanding. Words can be harsh:
  • He was harsh. Swaggart still manages to anger homosexuals. When joking once of hypothetically shooting a man if he looked at him with lust. He also said of homosexuals: We’ve got to get those limp-wristed preachers out of the pulpits,”
  • He was egoistic and commanding.  In the course of each sermon, the fired-up preacher would rant, weep, thrust his Bible high in the air and strut the stage this way and that, whipping his followers and himself to a devotional frenzy.
  • Can chant clearly:  Not only did he preach but he also sang (chanted) very clearly as can been heard here
  • Strongly connected with the Fire Energy: This sermon of Jimmy Swaggart is called the Ring of Fire. Very passionate. This is the link.
  • Body Part – mouth face facial expressions:
