Chart Analysis:
- Mario Andreti:

Potter’s wheel is stable in the centre while revolving: In popular American culture, Mario Andreti’s name has become synonymous with speed. While his car moved at high speed he (the driver) sat still in the centre with one focused concentration
Background:
Mario Andreti has his Moon in Vishaka in Tula. Tula also holds his Bhrigu Bindu in Swati. While his Bhrigu Bindu represents rapid movement (outer part of the potter’s wheel) his core is stable being the inner part of the potter’s wheel. The lord of Vishaka is Jupiter which has gone the 3H of courage and is conjunct with Venus the karaka for luxury ( racing is an expensive sport), Mercury (represents speed by wearing winged hat and winged shoes) and Ketu as the co-lord of the 2H showing an unusual method of earning wealth – via racing
Interpretation:
- Branched: Mario Andreti had another branch, twin brother Aldo Andreti. Both came from the same womb – the single point of concentration
- Interested in what they don’t have: Mario Andreti started with racing in ‘stock car’ events and won many races. Later he raced in ‘midget cars’. He then changed to racing in ‘sprint cars’. Subsequently he change to ‘champ car’ or ‘indycar racing’ while stating that his goal was to race with ‘single seater open cars’. Yet some time later he wanted to be a Formula One race driver which he successfully became
- Has a large mansion: Like Indra, after being victorious in all formats of racing, over 3 decades – 1960’s, 1970’ and the 1980’s – Mario Andreti lives in a large mansion in Bushkill Township, Pennsylvania
- Psychically charged live in a state of overload: As a race car driver, Mario Andretti was inexhaustible. “I was never getting enough,” he told IBD. “I felt there weren’t enough races. If I had a weekend off, I would book something else.” Talk about an adrenaline-fueled schedule
- Agni is young – relit every day: Andretti’s professional career spanned 31 years, quite unprecedented in the annals of motorsport racing
- Desire to get the untouched flower: Like sage Vyagharpada who wanted to have Tigers feet to get flowers for Shiva which were untouched even by the bees, Mario Andretti told Derek Daly, Formula One driver and “Race to Win” author “Mario has told me in the past that desire is the big separator between the champions and the also-rans,” Mario Andretti plucked every untouched flower in the car racing world

- Katrina Kaif:

Forked: Katrina Kaif been stereotyped as “Indian” by extreme right-wingers in Britain who made it clear that she did not quite fit-in with their Caucasian culture; while on the other hand in India itself she had been treated as an ‘outsider’ for quite a long time as mentioned in the biography of Katrina Kaif.
Background:
Katrina Kaif has her Bhrigu Bindu in the 10H of profession. The dispositor of the 10H is Mercury posited in the 8H of transformation. Mercury (communication) in the 8H is conjunct with Venus the karaka for entertainment. This is joined by Sun her 9H of fortune. The 9L Sun in the 8 H is also indicative of her differences with her father with whom she does not maintain any contact
Interpretation:
- Materialism and Spirituality: As a film star, Katrina chased the golden deer. However, sources claim that in recent times, the stress had made her restless, and she had been constantly worrying about her personal as well as professional life. Now, reports claim that she had taken to spirituality to ease the tension. It was reported recently that Katrina was reading voraciously on the subject and had even downloaded apps on her iPad that propagate positivity. She had also started meditating in order to put her mind at ease and channel her energy in the right direction.
- Perfectionist: “Katrina Kaif wants to get every move of hers right-and that holds to both for her profession and even in the literal sense of the word. In this video you will see how diligently she is practising to look absolutely fiery in the Kamli song from Dhoom: 3. Katrina Kaif is trying to get every nuance of her character right. She is listening to every instruction she gets from choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant very keenly. She doesn’t give up unless she finishes what is expected from her. Watch her do acrobatic stunts and some unbelievable histrionics while flying in the air with the help of just a rope
- Indra is the king of the devas and Agni operates in the earthly plane: Mars is the karaka of ruling over people like a king. Like Indira Katrina Kaif is the queen of peoples’ hearts (for those who may be her fans, who are legion) but operates on an earthly plane (item numbers!)
- Radha: Vishaka is also called Radha. Katrina Kaif has played the real life Radha to many in Bollywood

- Swami Muktananda:

(Swami Muktananda’s ashram in Maharashtra. Lofty ideals – loftier settings)
Duality: Swami Muktananda’s movement was both a spiritual and a financial success. Once Siddha meditation caught on, said Chandra Dinga, “money poured into the ashram.” Particularly lucrative were the two-day “meditation intensives” given by Muktananda, and now by his successors. Today, an intensive led by the two new gurus’ costs $200. An intensive given in Oakland in May 1983 drew 1200 participants, and people had to be turned away. At $200 a head, Chidvilasananda and Nityananda’s labours earned the ashram nearly a quarter of a million dollars in a single weekend.
Background:
Swami Muktananda has his Bhrigu Bindu in the 5H of ‘employing great prayogas’. The Lord of 5H is Sun which is in the 2H of wealth along with the 3L and the 6L Mercury the karaka for communication. The dispositor of the 2H is Venus which is also in the 3 H of effort/communication and the unlocking of the karmas. That Swami Muktananda used great prayogas to gain wealth and power and in the process used less than conventional methods to achieve this is explained by Rahu in the 3H which is the co-lord of the 11H
Interpretation:
- Complex psychically charged people: Nityananda stood facing me directly. He looked into my eyes again. Watching carefully, I saw a ray of light entering me from his pupils. It felt hot like burning fever. Its light was dazzling, like that of a high-powered bulb. As that ray emanating from Bhagavan Nityananda’s pupils penetrated mine, I was thrilled with amazement, joy, and fear. I was beholding its color and chanting Guru Om. It was a full unbroken beam of divine radiance. Its color kept changing from molten gold to saffron to a shade deeper than the blue of a shining star. I stood utterly transfixed. He sat down and said in his aphoristic fashion, “All mantras… one. Each… from Om. Om Namah Shivaya Om… should think, Shivo’ham, I am Shiva… Shiva-Shiva…Shivo’ham…should be internal repetition. Internal…superior to external”.
- Will seek environment where the most intense level of psychic charge is available: Muktananda spent the next nine years living and meditating in a little hut in Yeola. He wrote about his sadhana and kundalini-related meditation experiences, in his autobiography published in 1970. In 1956, Bhagawan Nityananda acknowledged the culmination of Muktananda’s spiritual journey, and gave him a small piece of land at Ganeshpuri, near Bombay, instructing Muktananda to create an ashram there.
- Devatadwandas: Indira is amorous Agni is spiritual. Muktananda advised his devotees to refrain from sex. “For meditation,” he told a audience in 1972, “what you need is seminal vigour. Therefore I insist on total celibacy as long as you are staying in the ashram” But then, those rules are obviously there only for the benefit of the disciples, not for the guru who no longer needs them.At his Ganeshpuri, India, ashram, “he had a secret passageway from his house to the young girls’ dormitory,” one [ex-follower] reported. (Lord of the 7H is Venus which is conjunct with Rahu and Mars in the 3H which is the house of ‘mental instability’ and is also the ‘abode of the gods’
- Vish = poision. Akha = manifestation: When in his twenties, he would hide behind trees, patiently waiting for a cow to come his way. The moment the animal stood to drop a cowpat, he would rush forward, scoop up the dropping in mid-air, and then swallow it (Feuerstein, 1992). Yum. Nor did such feasting exhaust the yogi’s interest in cows and their rectal output
- Terrible truths long hidden may be exposed: “Muktananda had a ferocious temper,” said Grimes, “and would scream or yell at someone for no seeming reason.” He saw the guru beating people on many occasions. “In India, if peasants were caught stealing a coconut from his ashram, Muktananda would often beat them,” Grimes said. The people in the ashram thought it was a great honor to be beaten by the guru. No one asked the peasants’ opinion. Muktananda’s ubiquitous valet, Noni Patel, was a regular target of his master’s wrath. While on tour in Denver, Noni came down to the kitchen to be treated for a strange wound in his side. “At first, he wouldn’t say how he had gotten it,” Grimes’ wife Lotte recalled. “Later it came out that Baba had stabbed him with a fork.”
- Large house: Muktananda’s followers had built him 31 ashrams, or meditation centres around the world.
- Duality: When crowds saw Muktananda step from a black limousine to a waiting Lear jet, it was clear that the diminutive, orange-robed Indian yogi was an American-style success.
- Triumphal Arch:
- Arch I: At 15 he encountered Bhagavan Nityananda, a wandering avadhoot who profoundly changed his life. After this encounter, Krishna left home and began his search for the experience of God.He studied under Siddharudha Swami at Hubli, where he learned Sanskrit, Vedanta and all branches of yoga, and took the initiation of sannyasa in the Sarasvati order of the Dashanami Sampradaya, taking the name of Swami Muktananda. After Siddharudha’s death, Muktananda began wandering India on foot, studying with many different saints and gurus.
- Arch II: After his enlightenment, Swami Muktananda received accolades and praise from many different sources. His fame increased to the point that he was made the subject of a New York Magazine article (“Hanging Out with the Guru”) and a Time magazine article (“Instant Energy”) both in 1976. Time quoted a follower of Muktananda: “I don’t think people come here looking for a religion. What they come for is an experience that will give meaning and substance to their lives. You don’t have to believe or profess anything to be a follower of Baba. We don’t become Hindus. People get whatever it is they get from Baba, and their lives are changed.”
- Arch III: Chandra Dinga said that as Muktananda’s power grew, he ignored normal standards of behaviour. “He felt he was above and beyond the law,” she said. “It went from roughing people up who didn’t do what he wanted, to eventually, at the end, having firearms.” Though the ashrams were meditation centres, a surprising number of people in them had guns.
